A 3-night retreat for creative women in April 2027
Goodbye, screens. Hello, crafts.
Escape your responsibilities and spend a few days reconnecting with your creative self as we gather to make, learn and connect with other women.
We’ll be staying at Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, CA, where you can use your free time to walk the labyrinth, hike on beautiful trails, wander the gardens, sit around in Adirondack chairs or visit the quaint buildings. We will eat farm-to-table meals three times a day (but snacks are always welcome!).
This 3-night creative retreat is limited to 16 women. We’ll be led by three guest artists who will teach us new things! And, of course, Jen Dary will do it up with her moderating and community-building mojo.
It’s like a modern-day sewing circle. Espionage optional.

Sunday
April 4
Explore Sonoma on your way into town. Arrive at the ranch by 4pm. Dinner and meet-ups.
Monday
April 5
Morning begins with breakfast and an opening activity led by Jen. After lunch, a special guest artist leads us in a 90-minute activity.
Lots of free time to hike, work on your own creative projects, craft in a literal sewing circle with new friends. Finally, dinner.
Tuesday
April 6
Breakfast, then 90 minutes with a special guest artist in the morning. Free time to explore the labyrinth, Casita Art Center, play volleyball, nap.
Special guest artist leads a 90-minute activity in the afternoon, then dinner. Optional evening project with Jen.
Wednesday
April 7
Breakfast, last hours together, then depart by 11am.

Jen Dary
Jen is a creative person whose hobbies depend on how many parenting or health crises she is navigating at any given moment. In the past, creative pursuits have included: writing, cross-stitching, embroidery, watercolor, sewing, Halloween crafting and making inspirational items via tiny envelopes.
When she's not making a mess, she is the founder and leadership coach at Plucky.

FAQs
Do I need to be experienced and crafty?
Heck no, it's more fun when you can laugh at yourself. Arrive with curiosity, openness and a smile and all will go well.
What should I bring? Are supplies provided?
We will provide all supplies for the 3 x 90-minute classes but please do bring anything you're working on for free time. The ranch also has a Casita Art House where you might find other supplies to mess around with.
How do shared rooms work?
All cabin rooms have 2-3 beds so even if you're in a private, you have bed options. If you’d like to share a room, we will match you with another attendee. If you’d like to come with a friend, let us know so we can match you accordingly.
How do I get there?
The nearest airports are Sonoma County (STS) and San Francisco (SFO).
What if I need to cancel?
Our policy is pretty straightforward. If you cancel by January 31, 2027, you get a full refund. If you cancel between Feb 1-28, you get 50% refunded. If you cancel after March 1, you will not be refunded but can transfer your spot (subject to Jen's approval).
Will we use AI?
